Location was perfect as it was at an exit of the train station. The hotel was also in the Shinsaibashi shopping area and close to all the restaurants and shops which was really convenient and easy to navigate in the hot weather. I stayed with my 15 year old son for a week and the room seemed a lot compact for the two of us as we couldn’t even open our bags properly in the room. Other than space the room had all the amenities and was very comfortable and clean. I also had an awesome view of the Shinsaibashi street from my room on the 11 floor and could also see the Parco and Daimaru centres from my room windows with the other luxury goods stores.

At the meeting point of river and sea, huge Osaka combines forward-thinking development and sure-footed tradition. This is symbolised in its temple-like, 16th century castle, guarded by ramparts and enlivened by vibrant spring cherry blossom. Dominating the surrounding skyline is Osaka Business Park, a reminder of the city’s strong role in the Japanese economy.
However, the most striking skyscraper is the Umeda Sky Building - 2 towers connected by a rooftop terrace offering far-reaching views. The nearby Osaka and Umeda train stations are linked by underground shopping centres, while the shops of Shinsaibashi’s America Village appeal to a younger crowd. Dōtonbori’s neon lights promote more shops, as well as restaurants considered the best in Osaka. In a city touted as Japan’s culinary capital, that’s quite an accolade.
The Tsūtenkaku tower overlooks Tennōji Park, home of the Osaka Municipal Museum of Art. Another nearby park houses Shitennō-ji, one of Japan’s oldest Buddhist temples.
The Kyocera Dome Osaka is a shrine of baseball, and more thrills are at waterfront Universal Studios Japan, the country’s 2nd largest theme park. Also by the sea is Kansai International Airport, on its own artificial island.
The capsule hotel was invented in Osaka, and alongside this type of accommodation, Booking.com also offers luxury hotels with pools, cheap hostels and traditional ryokans.
It was very fun and totally different from Tokyo. However, it is stinky because of people smoking everywhere. So consider your time here if you hate the tobacco smell. And it might be difficult for transportation if you have big and heavy luggage. Not everywhere elevators before stairs.

Osaka is a city, with some sightseeing places like the aquarium, Universal studios, Minoh falls and the Katsuoji temple are worth visiting. A bit far from places like Himeji or Mt Koyama if you want to venture out further.

Visited Universal Studios and stayed at Park Front Hotel next to the resort. Fantastic location for a hotel, a stone throw away from the theme park. Late at night, plenty of 24/7 convenience stores to buy your last minute needs! Overall, great trip!

The food was amazing.
The food was amazing. It is much cheaper compare to Hong Kong. There are also a lot of place to visit too. The Osaka Metro is a bit challenging to navigate but once you get the gist of it, it will be easier. The Japanese people were all nice.

Osaka is the food capital of Japan.
Osaka is the food capital of Japan. Dontonburi is the main strip for street food and debauchery though the city stretches for miles. With a little searching you can find tons of shopping and open air markets. The people are more laid back than in Tokyo and you can find Wagyu and Kobe beef everywhere. If you're ready to eat and drink, Osaka is the place for you!

Osaka is very cool place and full of fun things.
Osaka is very cool place and full of fun things. I usually prefer quiet, peaceful places and inside the city is very hectic but a little outside it is very quiet and peaceful. Some restaurants were very good and others were a little bad, some were tourist traps and others local delicacies. It is very hot during the summer so prepare for that.
Great hotel. We came back three time during our stay in Japan and used this hotel as our base in Osaka. Room is small like most Japanese hotels but very clean and comfortable. Staff were great. Its very close to the subway station so easy to get around on the trains. Plenty of convienience stores around and some great restaurants as well. The area is very clean and quite. They have washing machines on the 6th floor which we found very convenient. Overall we really enjoyed our stay here.
Hotel is conveniently located near two metro stations which give direct lines to Umeda, Namba and Shin-Osaka (for the shinknansen).
Our room was very clean and was serviced everyday. The japanese and western breakfast buffet and staff were excellent. There are quite a few good restaurants and cafes around the hotel which are highly rated on Tabelog. Would definitely stay again!
Location is excellent for walking to Universal Studios Japan and the City Walk. The Minions theme was so cute and fun! Staff was exceptionally friendly, welcoming, and spoke better English than all the other hotels I stayed at in Tokyo and Osaka. I definitely recommend this hotel to friends and family.
