Dublin is home to more than a quarter of the entire Republic of Ireland’s population and was originally founded as a Viking settlement. A lot has changed from those Viking days, and Dublin is now famous for its literary history and the most green-spaces of any other European capital, making Dublin a real Irish gem.
Dublin Castle is at the heart of the city's history and Trinity College holds the renowned Book of Kells, a beautifully illustrated manuscript from circa 800 AD. The Ha’penny Bridge is the city’s most photographed landmark and the statue of Molly Malone celebrates the heroine of Dublin’s unofficial anthem.
Dublin is home to many important literary figures including Oscar Wilde, William Yeats, Samuel Beckett and George Bernard Shaw. As the famous location of James Joyce’s “Ulysses”, the city offers tours tracing the protagonist’s footsteps.
Being one of the most youthful European cities, Dublin has a vibrant nightlife scene with the popular Temple Bar area and plenty of bars and pubs, which invite you to stay out until the wee hours of the morning.

Dublin is a wonderful city filled with lots of things to do...
Dublin is a wonderful city filled with lots of things to do and see for all ages. We were able to walk to everywhere we wanted to go in the too short time we were there. But there are multiple options for public transportation. We went to Trinity College and enjoyed the tour of the campus. The tour of the Book of Kells and the Long Room in the library were also very interesting although both are due for renovation and so many of the books in the Long Room had already been removed. The renovation is due to start within the year and may take several years to complete during which time the actual Book of Kells can not be seen. There is an alternative Book of Kells experience set up which is good. But honestly the tour of Trinity College itself was the best part! We loved eating at The Winding Stair restaurant. We missed out on an opportunity to do the kayaking tours on the River Liffey which looked like a fun way to explore the city too.

Very vibrant and great people.
Very vibrant and great people. Lots of pubs have no price lists or hard to find. This would at least give you a guide as prices can change dramatically from one bar to another. €9-50 to €6-50 a pint of Guinness within walking distance of each bar.

Dublin is Ireland's capital and biggest city.
Dublin is Ireland's capital and biggest city. Downtown is very busy, in oarticular in the shopping district and the pub&bar district 'Temple Bar'. Museums are (mostly) free, public transport is great, but the city is also small enough to be fully walkable. The locals are very friendly and helpful, variety of food and restaurants is very good. For a unique experience try a fish-and-chips shop (Leo Burdock claims to be the oldest in town) or sample one of the many, many pubs.

Dublin is the perfect city - everything in one place, within easy reach. Public transport is easy and easy to understand. The people and the whole atmosphere of the city is friendly and open - it has a great vibe. We loved the houses, all the greenery, lots of seagulls! A 20 minute train ride takes you out to the ocean, beautiful walking trails, cozy seashores.... In the evenings, it's definitely worth hitting the bars on the pedestrian streets, great atmosphere and live music!

A great atmosphere and everything close enough together to do on foot. Museums are free which offsets the relatively high prices in the city. A wide range of restaurants and bars. Guiness tastes especially good in its native city. Airport is up to date although it could do with a DART link. A modern European city with a good buzz.
Everything was excellent. The staff was very helpful and polite. The breakfast was hearty and very tasty. The hotel is located in a very nice and quiet neighborhood of Dublin. The city centre is easily accessible by public transport, but if you feel like walking it won't take more than half an hour to get to the heart of the Irish capital. I highly recommend it.
The hotel location is very good - 30-40 minutes by car/bus from Dublin Airport and 15 - 20 minutes by foot from city centre or 5 minutes by bus.
The room is good size, clean and quiet. In the room has safe, iron and ironing board, kattle and coffee and water.
The hotel staff is very friendly and helpfully with everything. Breakfast was good as well.
The room was lovely, spacious and very clean. The bed was super comfortable. The facilities were excellent and a good size TV. The location was excellent with shops and cafes around and the city centre within easy reach. The staff were friendly, helpful and accommodating. The price was reasonable for a fairly central hotel in Dublin.
Quality of the Breakfast was okay. Location in the City was excellent. I was working at the National Gallery of Ireland, and the location of the hotel was ideal. Very good value for a Dublin city centre hotel.
I loved this hotel. Very central and with great views of Dublin City centre. It was also great value. Clean, comfortable and quiet. Great bar and dining area. Great mix of guest. I will stay here again.
