We visit Liverpool on a regular basis, we always visit Mathew Street (Erics), a great bar and live music. A very good restaurant to visit is 'Shiraz Palace' 45, Ranelagh street. There are numerous museums and other historical places to visit, there is something for everyone in Liverpool and the people welcome you with open hearts.

If you're going on the ferry cross the mersey be prepared for a noisy journey - it was so noisy inside that we had to sit outside to hear ourselves and had to endure the howling wind in the process!!

The people first and foremost.
The people first and foremost. They are the most welcoming I've ever met. The music, nightlife and variety of pubs and clubs, and the football of course just combine so well. I've been there three times in the last year and I never have any desire to go home on my final day there. I've had the best holidays and memories of my life there and will continue to add to them again soon.
