My husband booked here because of the indoor pool. Pool has limited time and need to check-in at the reception to get access to the pool. It was quite tiny. A group of 10 would make it seem crowded already.
Quite a walk going to the beach(15min) and town centre(30min)
Good side is there's a free street parking as hotel parking is quite small too.
See photos of what we found inside the room.
We went there on a cloudy-rainy day. The room was suffocating hot even with the window wide open and fan on number 3.
Pillows weren't comfortable. It was so firm and bulky. Doesn't hug your head when rested on it.
Bed was creaking and cracking with every movement.
Flow curtain was covered with dust at the top part.
Shampoo/soap dispenser was broken.
Teaspoon and mug wasn't cleaned? Or teaspoon was just rusty?
Check-in is strictly 3pm.
Receptionists were not friendly.
But atleast we enjoyed the entertainment from 8pm-10pm. Not sure if it's a regular thing though.

Known for its sandy beaches and good nightlife, Bournemouth is a popular seaside resort on the Dorset coast between Poole and Christchurch.
The town is centred on the Bourne River, running downhill towards the sea by Bournemouth Pier. This pier looks back towards a promenade lined with beach huts at the foot of grassy cliffs. The promenade continues west to Poole, while a road goes east to neighbouring Boscombe, where anglers often fish from its pier. Overlooking it is a clifftop road housing some Bournemouth hotels with sea views.
Booking.com also offers hotels near the BIC – Bournemouth International Centre in the West Cliff area. This convention centre and music venue is a short walk from the Art Deco Pavilion Theatre, located next to the Lower Gardens. In this popular city park is the Bournemouth Eye, a tethered hot air balloon that offers far-reaching views.
At the park’s top end the river disappears under a large square, then emerges in the Central Gardens. Overlooking these gardens is the Victorian town hall, which used to be one of several spa hotels in Bournemouth. Opposite is a Grade I-listed church, and St Peter’s Church has the grave of Mary Shelley, author of ‘Frankenstein’.
On the outskirts of town, near 4 golf courses and the Castlepoint Shopping Centre, is Bournemouth Airport.

Lovery views from cliff tops. Beach sandy and spacious. Plenty of variety of shops and places to eat. Lovely well kept gardens. Very crowded with many language students. Prices on the high side and many only accept cards. It's hilly so will keep you fit. Very extensive bus service.

Bournemouth is a beautiful city with a seashore and historical buildings. However, it is full of homeless people and drug addicts, and it didn't feel safe. No police were visible; for example, at other beaches, there are police on bikes. In the parks, homeless people were lying everywhere, begging for money. You feel sorry for them but also want to enjoy your holiday.

I expected it to be a very historical old gem and it definitely was, being the oldest hotel in Bournemouth it has a great charm and a characterful building right next to the Russel and Cotes Museum which was really special to visit. My room had a sea-view and that was definitely the best part, being able to gaze over the harbour and sit out on my balcony.
Hospitality is the best I have seen. Mr. Rajat was very polite and humble. I stayed here for 2 nights and was so pleased that I won't search for any other hotel for my next trip in bournemouth.
Charming hotel in a good location for beaches and Bournemouth city centre. Reception staff very friendly and the room was very big with a super comfy bed.
