Given code to let ourselves in and on line check in. All went very smoothly with codes sent for doors.

The breakfasts were excellent. The lady owner went out of her way to provide us with a cooked breakfast on the 2nd morning which wasn’t the continental option normally available.

Plenty of eating options pubs and bars, shopping centres, open spaces eg. Parks etc, Tube station at the end of the Northern Line. Seems a friendly place people pass the time of day and speak to you in most places. Could have spent longer there, as it does have a lot of culture which I could have learnt more about. Can be a bit busier at peak times with traffic and school runs etc. but plenty of crossings on the main highway though.

The friendliness of the neighbourhood.
The friendliness of the neighbourhood. The access to restaurants and cafes - there is such a variety of cuisines! The access to transport - easy access to greater London by car or train. Plus a big Sainsbury's on the High St.

My attraction to Barnet is Oak Hill College, where friends are studying for their degrees in Theology. Barnet itself has nice cafes and restaurants and is a relatively safe and quiet area with easy access to London and Heathrow.

Beautiful grounds and an attractive lodge for a quiet, peaceful visit, just off the M25. A great place to stay outside of London, with a direct tube line to South Kensington if you wish to visit the Natural History Museum, Science Museum or the Royal Albert Hall.
Really great stay at Brooklyn house, I booked this because was looking for somewhere to stay for a night in this area. Very friendly hosts, and very considerate in offering help getting to the accommodation. Room was clean and had great touches like good variety of lighting and a sofa; having stayed at a few places in London I think this is good value. Would definitely stay again! Thank you
The Beale Arboretum is the highlight of the area. Pretty hard to get out without your own car, but if you need to get to central London, the Cockfosters station on the Piccadilly Line is 2km away (more or less) and has a large TfL parking lot next to it.
The staff were friendly and welcoming. Really nice garden to enjoy a good cooked breakfast and free parking in London with the hotel just a 5/10 minute walk to the underground that gets you to Leicester Square in about 30mins.
A bit worried when we discovered the hotel was on the site of a service station, but it was very quiet and had everything we needed. We were visiting in N London so the location was ideal
