I was very disappointed that our apartment was unavailable causing loss of all planned activities near location. Spent most of trip having to ride subway long distances, causing delays. Took weeks to recover from exhaustion and money lost on prepaid activities.

I love Paris so much, but it got so much dirtier from what I’ve seen during my last visit. :(( also a lot of homeless people even though the city made an effort to displace them in other parts of France: it’s a huge problem and need solving asap

So many places of interest to visit.
So many places of interest to visit. Police everywhere to provide security and sense of safety. So many tourists around and the people are very accommodating. Paris is generally beautiful, neat and decent city. There are moderate and decent restaurants around that are pocket friendly. Going about through the underground was fast and cheap. There are several places of tourist attraction in Paris.

I was only travelling through Paris on the way to Barcelona.
I was only travelling through Paris on the way to Barcelona. But I adore Paris - so elegant, so full of life and colour, so civilised. And of course the obvious (and less obvious) attractions are stunning - my favourite is the Museum of the Middle Ages, a collection of works of art and sculptures rescued from redundant buildings all over France, including the wonderful "Lady of the Unicorn" tapestry. And of course the food...!
For anyone staying for several days, or even for just one night, I would recommend a Navigo pass, a smart card which makes travelling on the Metro or buses straightforward (like the London Oystercard).

The city is as interesting and full of culture as ever.
The city is as interesting and full of culture as ever. However, it is very expensive and there are many online "offers" which are, in fact scams, beware! For example, you can get visits to sights for 100+ euro, say, that involve "going to the front of the queue. If you book at the official website, you can get the same ticket for a fraction of the price and still go to the front of the queue.
Don't be put off too much by the high cost, because money comes and goes, but the memories stay with you for life. Think of it as "buying memories" rather than the price of the visit.
One thing that Paris is behind with is with stairs at Metro stations. Many more with escalators and lifts are needed. Paris does little to help visitors with mobility problems and I dread to think of issues that will arise for some people at the Paralympics.
Everything - position -30m from Metro station ,room, room cleaning and best breakfast I ever ate in France.
At the same level the services … all the people from the deskfront to the cleaning very kind and helpful in all our requests. From all hotels across Europe that I’ve stayed is one with the best scores.
If we’ll come once more time in Paris, we’ll stay in the same hotel for sure. We strongly recommend to choose this hotel for everybody who wants to stay confortable and visit Paris in a easy way.
Very cheap Hotel. You get what you pay for. The staff were nice. The room was alright. The bed was good, the bedding was old but clean. We had a sink and wardrobe in the room. There was a view of Paris. Windows were big enough. Lights were bright enough for the whole room. It wasn't too noisy. We stayed on the fourth floor. Like I said, everything is justifiable. For tourists, this may be too shocking. For people used to living in Paris, it is what it is.
This is a lovely hotel in a part of Paris that feels more for locals than for tourists, but is in easy walking distance (5 minutes) of at least two Metro stations, making it very easy and quick to visit all the typical attractions. The very best thing was the warm welcome and friendly service from the multi-lingual staff. David from France and Mauricio (I think) from Argentina made us feel at home.
Staff were very helpful and friendly, great breakfast, as far as budget hotels go, this one is great value for money. 5 minute walk to the metro. Great location for exploring Paris. Cheap on site parking for 24 hours in a secure car park.
During the covid shutdown we stayed in various hotels in Paris. Thankfully the Amiral hotel has reopened - it is by far the best 4*, not the cheapest but well worth the extra. And the heated indoor pool is just too.
