Jonzac is a delightful small town and two nights was enough...
Jonzac is a delightful small town and two nights was enough time for us as a visit. That said we did not travel outside the town as I was gently recovering from two days of serious driving before moving on to our holiday villa with the family.

Perfect location. 3 min.'s walk to the market, 3 times...
Perfect location. 3 min.'s walk to the market, 3 times weekly, Fridays the biggest. Healthstore just as close. 2 highly recommendable restaurants within 5 minutes walk , le Comptoir du Marche and Creperie Rozell, not the other crep. 6 to 7 minutes walk to a very nice park with lake and great biodiversity. Also good facilities in the flat for cooking.

No parking available other than in the street - OK out of season, likely to be challenging in summer. The room, bed, bathroom were all good and the staff helpful and pleasant. Jonzac itself didn't have much to offer in mid December, with many places closed, such that the hotel restaurant seemed to be the only available choice for dinner.

The stairs was at an angle that made it perilous to climb. The first bedroom was at the top of the stairs, no door, one crossed the first bedroom to get to the second bedroom. The first bedroom had no windows or ventilation. I went and booked into a hotel. Please vet the properties before you let them on your siteIvanIreland
