Seville is a city that lends itself perfectly to just wandering around and soaking up the atmosphere. And there is plenty of atmosphere to be soaked up.
People watching is very much a pastime here, and all over Seville restaurants teem with well-heeled locals enjoying a laidback coffee or cerveza under the shade of a citrus tree.
The city also has its fair share of must-see sights. Top of the list is Plaza de España whose monumental, semi-circular building is elaborately decorated with Andalusian tiles. Also typically Andalusian is the Seville Bull Ring, though what goes on inside may not be to everyone’s taste. The resting place of Christopher Columbus, UNESCO World Heritage-listed Seville Cathedral is an awe-inspiring structure whose vast vaults provide welcome relief from the heat of the day.
But it’s after dark that things really start to heat up. Streets pulse to the rhythm of flamenco, and with more bars per inhabitant than anywhere else in Europe, there’s no shortage of choice for nightlife.
Just on the outskirts of the city is Seville Airport. Public transport from here provides easy access to the array of Seville hotels, guest houses and apartments that Booking.com has to offer.

We've been to Seville several times, once for a week and some other overnight stays. Pity that the last couple of times, it was to hot to really appreciate the city. But we remember the first time we were there, we had the time to really discover the city and visited most interesting places - museums, parks and churches.

But it’s just too hot to walk around during summer
My best recommendations is to start early, be at the attractions at1000am, buy your tickets online if you can however if your over 65 it’s best to purchase the tickets there because they offer senior discounts, however you need to carry your passport with you if you don’t have a European ID card
Hop of hop off red bus, you really only need one day, only one main attraction to see which was the Spanish plaza

We absolutely loved Seville!
We absolutely loved Seville! Loved the historic centre and all the sites and loved the people! Would definitely recommend Seville as a place to visit! We spent 3 nights in Seville and it was great! Highly recommend booking a tour with entrance to Cathedral, Alcazar and Giralda to avoid lines. Also highly recommend Walking Tour of Seville! Don't miss Piazza de Espana! Breathtaking! Loved the tapas and the Paella. July and August is very hot and was 38 degrees....

I spent five days in Seville, exploring the city on my own. The trip was wonderful, and the streets were as enchanting as the landmarks. The highlights for me were the Plaza de España, watching the sunset from Las Setas, and visiting the Royal Alcázar. All of these sites were easily accessible on foot, with numerous excellent tapas spots along the way. During the warmer months, I recommend starting your day early to avoid the midday heat. The city truly comes alive both in the mornings and at night.

Amazing historical city with plenty of things to do and see.
Amazing historical city with plenty of things to do and see. Great restaurants and at an affordable price. But, it was rather HOT! 42C at 9 in the evening. We liked it, but I am not sure if its for everyone's liking,
The breakfast buffet was amazing - perhaps the best we had in this week's travel through Southern Spain. The hotel also benefits from a location very near the Plaza de Espana, but is a bit away from the hustle and bustle of central Seville which is nice. It is a business class hotel so has all the amenities you would expect. As a bonus, just outside the hotel either side are some nice neighborhood restaurants with very nice staff.
Nice little hotel not too far from downtown Seville. Great breakfast buffet! Room was nice and comfortable. They have a private parking garage which is great. We had a nice stay and walked to the old town which is about 20 minutes from the hotel. Hotel is close to many shops, restaurants, and a big mall not too far away.
The location in the old town is great, easy to walk to shops, the Setas, the river etc. Staff were very friendly on check in and the room was clean.
If you can cope with the temperatures in Seville and want to spend all your time sightseeing before an easy walk to a pleasant hotel to sleep, it is perfect.
Great location in the center of Seville. Wonderful family-run hotel with lots of charm. Breakfast on the roof is wonderful, and the breakfast food is really good, much better than many hotels in Spain. The best part is the welcome and the service from the family and the staff at the hotel!
We always stay at this hotel it’s comfortable staff excellent so helpful the location is excellent walking it into the heart of Seville old town only a few minutes and peace and quiet at the hotel beautiful roof top pool very clean
