Great place for the family specially kids. Wonderful pool view and clean rooms. The vibe was very healthy and pleasant. Recommended for family visit, close to Citystars (5 min walking).
I checked in with my wife and the receptionist asked me for documentation that proves that she is my wife as a part of the hotel's rules. I consider that one of the best things about the hotel. It shows me what type of hotel it is. Special thanks for Ahmed and Nada who were very nice and helpful.

Born of an ancient civilisation, Cairo is a vast metropolis centred around the Nile. Its sheer scale can feel overwhelming (especially when flying over it into Cairo Airport), so plan ahead. An obvious starting point are the Giza Pyramids. Although the pharaohs are long gone, the grandeur of their burial pyramids, the Sphinx and Solar Boat are testament to their ambition.
The city’s Egyptian Museum houses a dazzling display of ancient Egyptian artefacts, including finds from Tutankhamun’s tomb in Luxor. Around the corner is Tahrir, a huge square and focal point of the 2011 Egyptian Revolution.
East is Islamic Cairo, home to 9th-century Ibn Tulun Mosque, Al-Azhar Mosque (site of the world’s oldest university), and the Khan el-Khalili souk – remember to haggle. The Citadel, with its elegant Mohammed Ali Pasha Mosque, sits on a hill offering far-reaching city views.
If you want to step out of cultural tours, take a Nile cruise by felucca, spot wildlife in Wadi Digla desert park or visit Egypt’s top theme parks: Dream Park and Magic Land, where you can tour Egyptian TV studios.
Before heading to your Cairo accommodation, sample the local cuisine – the falafel and fuul (bean paste) are delicious. Turkish coffee is a staple and there are hundreds of shisha bars, while major Cairo hotels have bars serving alcohol.

Cairo has continued a downhill trajectory.
Cairo has continued a downhill trajectory. Polluted, with time-consuming traffic. New Cairo (administrative capital) is far from old Cairo city. Culture still has many problems of hygiene. If you venture outside of your hotel, be sure to bring toilet paper and some sort of disinfectant (as many bathrooms have none, and are just plain dirty). Long lines in poorly-run airport. I now only travel to Cairo for work, if absolutely necessary.

Don't try and do Egypt alone. You need the guides.
Don't try and do Egypt alone. You need the guides. It makes your experience so much better. The tips are so cheap it is almost free and having Arabic native people with you allows you to move through the cities and check points so easily and the other vendors leave you alone

There is nothing I like about this hotel because I was sent a confirmation for a room. I contacted them to state that I did not make the reservation and that my name was not the same on the confirmation as the name on the credit card. I told them outright the reservation was a fraud. They then went ahead and charged me for the room.

The traffic has improved dramatically in the last few years. The time from the airport to Giza (where the Pyramids are) is only between 45 min ~ 1 hour. On the other hand, the people trying to take your money are still there. Travellers beware!

You could easily spend two months in Cairo to see everything. There are other things than just the tourist attractions. It would also be interesting to stay long enough with the local people. But that would require Arabic. People are surprisingly friendly.
The way Egyptians drive is very specific, don't think about renting a car. Hire a driver with a car, it's affordable. Even the locals advise avoiding tuktuk though.

Obviously, you go to Egypt for the history, it is...
Obviously, you go to Egypt for the history, it is magnificent. Local food is fantastic, it's delicious and you get more than plenty (get out of the hotels, the local places and thousands of times better and cheaper).
The Pyramids are one of the wonders of the world so you should see them once in your life.
The main downside to Egypt in general is the hassle you will get as a tourist, it is neverending, they do not take no for an answer and will follow you down the street for as long as possible. We had an awful-looking horse and carriage (it was 45 degrees Celsius out and the house was in very poor condition) follow us for over 30 minutes offering us a ride, it was harassing, we had told him no many times in English and Arabic (very firmly by towards the end), in the end we had to cross a very busy multi-lane street so we could walk into the oncoming traffic to get rid of him.
If you are a woman and not completely covered from head to toe you will be catcalled all day, every 30 seconds regardless if you have a man with you or not (I ain't small either), the locals will openly gawk at you, whistle and call.
You will be scammed, everything has to be haggled for and they will want sky-high prices, you have to be brutal when you haggle and haggle for absolutely everything. It is very exhausting.
Even after haggling and completing whatever it is, they will then ask you for a tip and be upset when you tell them no or offended because you didn't give them more and will openly ask for a figure (I'm not cheap, this happened every time regardless of how much I gave).
Perfect location (in front of the Egyptian museum) and near nice cafés and restaurants - try the Koshary it's delicious and cheap. We also could walk to the local market very easily (like 30 mns max) Very amazing staff in the hostel. They helped us book our tour in Gizeh and when we were not satisfied with the tour, Anas (from the hostel staff) made everything in his power to get us happy so thank you Anas for your efforts you're the best !!
Location is very accessible, staff are friendly, price is reasonable, very near to Egyptian museum and souvenir shops, just beside KFC and some restaurants. There is also money changer nearby.
Breakfast is good 👍
The tours in the hotel are cheaper than online booking.
There is heater in the shower and my room is quiet at night.
I will come back to this hotel if I am visiting Egypt again. 👍
Best hotel ever, I have stayed in many other hotels and I did not find the comfort, security and good service I found in this hotel, it deserves more than 5 stars! The location is excellent, as the wonderful view of the pyramids of Giza directly from the room and the statue of the Sphinx, and I thank all those who helped me in this place, and finally the cleanliness of the rooms is great❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
This hotel has the best view of the Pyramids & the price it’s very cheap for the location that it has. The rooms are clean and beds are very nice. Also the staff it’s very good.
They also offered airport pick-up which it was very cheap.
I fully suggest it this hotel 😊😊
The place was fairly clean and modern looking. For a visitor from the UK however it was more like a 3 star hotel which would equate I guess to an Egyptian 5 Star hotel
