Three star hotel, that met my expectations. The room was nice but small and had a slightly musty smell. The bathroom, which included a shower, was very cramped. The breakfast was basic but adequate. The service was extremely friendly, adding a positive touch to our stay. It was convenient to reserve parking for our car at the hotel's own lot. The location was perfect, making it easy to explore the area.

Possibly the best location in Helsingør. It is a two-minute walk to the train terminus and five minutes to the ferry that goes to Sweden. It’s 10 minutes from the Culture Museum and 15 from Kronborg Castle. The staff are lovely, the hotel is beautiful and the rooms are comfortable. For a 17th century building, it was surprisingly comfortable—including an elevator between floors. The hotel is in the centre of the old town and has easy access to numerous cafes, bars and restaurants, including one on site. It’s also near the main shopping streets and close to the main church.
Found 2 km outside Elsinore’s medieval centre, this hotel offers a private golf course and Øresund Strait views, free green fees and a 1,200-piece art collection.

The location was great. We parked in the 24hr car park at the station which is just a short walk. Nice to be able to walk to castle, shops and restaurants. Loved the wonky floors!

It was easy to walk to all the sites and there was a lot that interested us. We visited for two days in mid-December. If we were there longer in warmer weather, we would explore more nearby places. This would be easy because of the train and ferry in town. We enjoyed the shops and restaurants. On another visit, we would go to the castle earlier in the day. There were things we weren’t able to do because our tour was too close to closing time. Helsingor is a ninety minute train ride from Copenhagen. You can get off the train north of Copenhagen and take the metro directly to the airport.

I am from Brazil and I would like to move straight there. I love the Viking vibe, the city is extremely clean, the city is beautiful, the churches and castles are wonderful, the food is extremely delicious despite being simple, everywhere I went I can say that I had the best dish I've ever eaten, chocolate Hot, the tastiest I've ever had and even a simple burger at a restaurant called BBQ was the best I've ever had … and even being lucky enough to see snow for the first time, it was magical

A relaxing stay by the sea side with fresh air and an excellent alternative to Kobenhavn city which is a short (45 minute) frequent (every 20 minutes) train ride away and included (free) in the Copenhagen card.
Kronberg Slot and Maritime Museum well worth a visit (both included in the Copenhaven card) or for for a roundtrip across the sound to Helsingborg.
A good walking tour around the town - map/guide available at tourist offices.
Louisiana Art is nearby.
Hotel Hamlet is a charming small hotel perfectly located - a one minute walk from the - by the way, probably most beautiful train station in Denmark! And situated perfectly in the center of the town. He rooms are very nice - it’s a beautiful old building and very nicely renovated and decorated. They have kept the old style look, while modernizing the rooms. Our room was small but perfect for our needs.
The staff were very friendly and helpful. My wife and I enjoyed our stay very much and will definitely stay here again.
The hotel is very comfortable and has a great location literally 2 minutes from the train station and 4 minutes from the ferry. It is ideal for exploring the town and harbour area, maritime museum and the castle. The owners and staff were friendly and accommodating.
Breakfast was excellent. No restaurant in the evening disappointing. No phone in room for emergencies and room information out of date. Excellent scenery at the hotel.
