The location of the hotel is good (it's near the historic centre and actually on top of a subway station) and the beds are comfy. Most members of staff were friendly and helpful. The bar area is nice and the food was good. The hotel was quite busy during our stay but we weren't bothered by any noise from outside of our room.

Renowned for its stunning architecture and the world’s largest fair, Oktoberfest, Munich needs little introduction. Its vibrant cultural scene, great shopping and fantastic museums speak for themselves.
Munich has something for everyone: from historic palaces and castles, to stunning royal avenues to world class galleries and museums. Don't miss the new city hall in the heart of Marienplatz or the former residence of the Bavarian kings, the Residenz. Munich is also home to the world’s most famous beer hall, the Hofbräuhaus.
For great shopping, Karlsplatz is another commercial wonderland square that takes up much of the city centre and the upscale area around Maximilianstrasse. Munich is famous for its food too, so make sure you try the local Weißwurst, Leberkässemmeln and other popular pork dishes.
Thanks to efficient S-Bahn train, getting to the city centre from Germany’s second busiest airport, Munich International Airport is quick and easy. Whether you’re looking for luxury hotels, youth hostels or comfortable apartments, Booking.com has the perfect accommodation for your Munich visit.

It is a very calm place, considering that it is such a large city. No cars in the centre, and lots of people walking and cycling. Wonderful art galleries, lots of good restaurants, and the English Garden is well worth a visit

Munich is very interesting but you are advised to book restaurants otherwise you will be disappointed and/or have to wait in long queues. The weekend was especially busy due to the Adele concert taking place. We stayed for 2 days and spent one day in the old town, visited the English Garden and took in many of the sights whilst walking. The beer kellers and traditional food are a must have but be mindful that everyone wants to do this so can be very busy!

After spending 2 months in Munich I love to return when I can. It never fails to have a good vibe. In August it is quite busy but still is a nice visit with plenty of places to visit from the Market, to Residenz to Dahau and Palaces or just shops.
I would avoid the tourist restuarants around Marienplatz and head to the Student quarter around Schwabing and Munchner Freiheit

Munich is a beautiful city with excellent transport.
Munich is a beautiful city with excellent transport. However, it is definitely expensive. A simple cappuccino would cost at least €3.50 and €5 is a much more common price. Similarly, a portion of chips (french fries) would usually cost €5.50. Drinks a similarly expensive and unbelievably they even put tap water on the menu, sometimes costing €7 for 750ml. This said, provided these costs match your budget, this is a city worth visiting (though probably 4 days are enough). Needless to say, the beer is excellent and, if you're going for the Oktoberfest (I didn't on this occasion) then it is a total other story and in that case 100% worth it. The people are helpful but I surely wouldn't describe them as friendly.

I might be biased in my love for Munich because was born there. Living abroad for 10+ years I am visiting each year, and my appreciation has only grown since then.
From the myriad of public Pools, Beer gardens, the Isar river which flows through the city, the bicycle culture and the location near the mountains - Munich is the best city in the world, no doubt about it.
This is a lovely, family run hotel with really friendly and helpful staff. My room was small, but very clean and with a very comfortable bed.
The breakfast was very good, with freshly cooked eggs and bacon in addition to the continental buffet. There is also a nice bar.
The location is also good, with a five minute walk to the tram stop and just a few stops to the HBF and then a few further stops to the city centre.
I would definitely recommend this hotel for a stay in Munich.
Well equipped, functional and spacious rooms. Although the hotel was beside a few seedy stripper clubs, it actually felt relatively safe as there were many late night eateries and the area was lively at night! Very close by to the Munich HBF station and only an easy 15 mins walk from most city centre attractions! For the right price, we would stay there again.
The hotel is some distance from the city centre but that for me was a plus... Munich is full of bars and pubs and lots of drunk, loud tourists ...The hotel is far enough that it's quiet area and yet in 10 min walk and you are entering the "fun" zone.
This is large chain hotel so everything is expected, clean , well run, overall nothing majorly bad.
It is a very good hotel outside of city centre of Munich. The room was big and clean. The bed was very comfortable. The shower can be a bit better. Wi-Fi is very good. The breakfast is full of options. If you like walking such as I do, the Center is 45 minutes away on foot. They have secure parking. Above all staff is amazing.
Travelled to Munich for the Euro Cup and despite being an insanely busy time for the city & hotel, everything ran very smoothly. Check in was easy, rooms were clean and a good size. The staff were lovely and the bar area was really well run even late into the night. Also a quick walk into the city centre.
