It's a great central location for skiing/mtb and a very short walk from the gondolas. We didn't find the street noise loud when going to bed either. The room was a little studio and was very well equipped and had a lot of storage. The bed was comfortable and we enjoyed our short 2 night stay here. The staff were very helpful and we used the underground car park (~$30 a day). There was use of an outdoor pool and gym just across the road at the sister hotel which we used and that was nice to relax in the sun after a big riding day. We also had a decent sized balcony overlooking to main street which was a nice bonus, especially to dry swimsuit before packing to fly home.

It was my first time visiting Canada in the summer, it really refreshed my image of Canada since it directed me to the snow mountains everytime I think about Canada...lol.
I did many water activities and it makes me love the summer of Canada too! The Backcountry Golden River Kayaking is highly recommended and I will definitely do it again next summer...

Whistler Village is very much a town for skiers and mountain...
Whistler Village is very much a town for skiers and mountain bikers, with the entire planned layout catering to a high-end clientele. There are more affordable food and hotel options as well, though I’m pretty sure those would be booked quickly in skiing season. Tough to find food open after 9:30pm other than bar food, but that’s OK for most people.
The rest of the town is a backpacker, hiker, nature-lover’s destination, with mountains and trails nearby.

Whistler has something special for everybody!
Whistler has something special for everybody! My husband and I adore hiking and exploring and Whistler has an abundance of beautiful surrounding lakes, waterfalls, trails, and scenic vistas on the mountain tops of Blackcomb and Whistler mountains. We spent 5 days, which was perfect for exploring nearby Brandywine Falls and surrounding hiking trails, Rainbow Falls and the scenic loop around 21 Mile Creek, and powerful Nairn Falls and the Green River, and Ancient Cedars Trail among the 1,000 year old trees that are majestic. We also kayaked the River of Golden Dreams, took a guided tour with Paddy on Whistler E-Bikes, and photographed beautiful black bears in Olympic Village on the Whistler Photo Safari with Ollie. Whether we were on a guided tour or on our own, we had an amazing experience in the breath-taking beauty of Whistler! The locals are friendly and have great stories to tell, the food is delicious, and there is a "fully alive and engaged" vibe in the cheerfulness of the young men and women from all over the world who choose to come to work in Whistler! You will be thrilled by the experience!!

Whistler is fun. There are many shops and restaurants.
Whistler is fun. There are many shops and restaurants. Prices vary depending on what you like, from fast food to high dining. Traffic was a bit hectic going in, due to accidents, but check in wasn't until 4 anyways. I will definitely do this trip again, and book more days. I only had the weekend off. I would definitely explore more of Whistler next time. We didn't plan very good for clothing due to poor weather. We had KFC, but wow the portions were huge, not like what you get at home. (Chilliwack,BC). It's worth visiting Whistler.

Whistler is one of the most beautiful places we have ever visited. The Sea to Sky highway is an incredibly scenic drive. Whistler has many, many outdoor activities in the summertime including beautiful golf courses, easy trails and bike paths, challenging hikes and spectacular waterfalls.
The location is great right on the edge of the village so an easy walk to the Gondola, Whistler village area. The hotel is quite dated but still comfortable. Pets are welcome however this does mean that room cleanliness is average. We used the pool and hotel tub which are a nice addition. We booked the 2 bedroom suites they are a great size and perfect for a family of 4.
Great location in Whistler village above the Araxi. It has access to a ski valet / storage on mountain so you don’t have to carry your skis back to the hotel everyday. The rooms are big with good amenities. There’s a sauna and hot tub for after ski soak but the hot tub wasn’t quite warm enough - more like bath temperature.
The hotel was close to Whistler village & you could park your car right there. You could walk to everything in the Whistler village. It was close to grocery store too. It is much cheaper than other hotels at the same site.
Lots of great places to eat. Whistler village is the best location for skiing ⛷️ back to your hotel without having to take a taxi or bus back, like some other comparable ski resorts. Definitely the best ski place in Canadá.
Pinnacle has been our family's usual go to in Whistler. Affordable, clean and accesible to Main street and super close to the Village. Beds and other hotel facilities are up and running. Can't complain.
