We really liked staying at this hotel. The location is exceptional, and our bedroom (a studio with city view) was really spacious, located on the top floor and overlooking the Royal Ontario Museum and the skyline.
The breakfast was good, the bed very comfortable, and the personnel very kind and helpful. As a bonus, the fitness center and the pool are also very good. Would totally recommend!

Toronto is always fun! We went to the 360 restaurant and it was incredible albeit pricey. So bear that in mind if you go.
Lakeshore is fun but busy.
Lots of green spaces, great places to eat too! My personal favorite is Bar Vendetta.

I stayed for 2 weeks at a beautiful hotel, Montecassino, and I enjoyed the big city with all my heart. Food was good at the market, and the hungarian community was very hospitable, especially the Hungarian Reformed Church, and the writers I visited, with Laszlo Soproni. Food at the MANDARIN was excellent. We got lost twice it is true, but found our way back again to the Hotel. We enjoyed the High park birds singing.

I loved the views, tall buildings and all the lights at night. There is so much to do everyday out there.
My least favorite was eating the poutine fries from Smoke's. To be fair I don't know if I ordered it correctly but after a few nibbles in what was way too many fries and not enough meat... I threw it away..
On the other hand, LANDWER which is walking distance from the hotel is a jewel!!! Very delicious food.. and another favorite of mine was Simone's but you have to take the train or taxi to get there.. if you like carribean food this is definitely the place to go. 20 out of 20...the oxtails, steamed veggies, coleslaw and king fish..omg!!! So good I went 2 times during my 6 day stay!

Toronto is a city full of things to do.
Toronto is a city full of things to do. Amazing museums, such as the ROM and the Canadian textile museum. Great restuarants of many ethnicities. Public transport was easy to use, but have change for the buses.
If you are a solo traveler with an appreciation for hipster life and culture this is a great and affordable hotel to stay in. I appreciated the Toronto cultural references in the Hotel e.g. maps, books, art and museum books. I have visited Canada 4 times, this being my 4th time. I felt that because I stayed at this hotel, I had a better understanding and experience of Toronto tourism and life. The staff were really cool, friendly and positive. I really recommend this stay for students and solo travelers.
We arrived in Toronto 30 mins early and the staff were friendly and able to accomodate our early check-in. We had a broken toilet in our room when we arrived but the staff were quick to respond and fixed it immediately. The room was clean and comfortable.
The hotels location and very convenient for traveling downtown by subway. The subway is accessible from North York Centre Station beneath the building. There is a food court within the building connected to the hotel. It's very convenient.
This is literally one of the best locations i could have stayed while in Toronto. The room was spacious enough and clean. close to restaurants and shops and also very close to the union station. great transport links to the airport and other cities in canada
This is a lovely, clean, new hotel within walking distance of downtown Toronto.
The hotel has its own bar, but this is pretty quiet. The lounge area is comfortable, but feels quite open and not necessarily somewhere you would want to sit in the evening.
