We aren't a fan of Sydney but only because we aren't city people. We prefer the country. We stayed merely as a stop over prior to international travel. Great dining options though and shopping galore. Easy to navigate around the city.

Sydney is without doubt one of the finest cities in the world. The modern downtown architecture is awe inspiring and beautiful. A walk to The Rocks is a must to savour old town Sydney. From there you can take in the magnificence of the harbour bridge and the Opera House.
Getting around is so easy and as I was staying at the Ridges Hotel, if I got weary, I could just hop on the Tap on Tap off train to Central and back to my hotel.

I have lived in Sydney for years, I love the weather, it is not as cold as Melbourne and not as hot as Queensland. The Sydney Harbour is stunning, and best seen by walking near the Opera House, over the Bridge or by Ferry up the Paramatta River. Bondi Beach is a great place to see if you have a short trip and Manly is worth a look if you have time. The Taronga Zoo has the best views of any zoo in the world. Whether you are shopping in the CBD, or picnicking in the botanic gardens, the city has a lot to offer tourists. Public transport makes it easy to get around the city, but driving, Uber or taxis will also be options. Solo travelers should take a Ferry up the Paramatta River to get amazing pictures, and if you are around for a week, take a trip to the Hunter Valley wineries.

TORONGA ZOO IS A MUST DO
the views of the city with- in the zoo are spectacular !
Amazing big rooms for the price
Super clean and have things like a fridge and microwave.
Liz was amazing, super nice and helpful and genuinely cared about my family and I.
We had lots of bags from the airport and skies and the rooms were huge so plenty of storage and we parked right up the side to load and unload.
Free parking across the road is epic, especially being 10 mins from Airport!
1/4 of the price to airport hotels, with better rooms, service, free parking, close to food, and Liz. Perfect!
Location is close to domestic airport and a short shuttle or taxi to the international airport so it was a great accommodation option for our early morning international flight.
We took advantage of the hotels park and fly package which is an extremely good deal if you need long term parking. Big plus!
The rooms are spacious and the bed was really comfortable.
Loved the location. No problem for us with noise from within the complex or surrounding venues over the weekend.
Comfortable apartment with everything you need.
Included breakfast was lovely.
Host friendly, easily contactable and very willing to help. Apologetic for mistakes.
Affordable accommodation option compared to hotels in the area.
Location is central to many places within the CBD. Hotel has couple of lounge spaces to sit with family and friends and sip wine and chat. The front office staff is exceptionally courteous and ready to go out of the way to help. Traditional furniture.
Great location in North Sydney above the train station. My room was facing North Sydney offices, but the other side of the hotel has views over Sydney Harbour.
