Zak, in particular, was a pleasure, so kind, positive, upbeat and bubbly, he continously tried his best to make sure we enjoyed our stay. The hotel itself is beautiful, including the rooms, pool area and rooftop terrace. The location is also perfect, in terms of being near several major touristic sites, including the valley of the Temples and the Scala del Turchi. Its also near the beach and several fabulous restaurants. Thanks again to the team at Giafra!

In the Borgo Vecchio district of Palermo, close to Fontana Pretoria, Addimora Boutique Suites has a terrace and a washing machine. The property location was so perfect for everything we wanted to do. It was within walking distance of all that we planned, including a short walk to the location of our tour. The elevator up to the fourth floor was such a treat giving us a glimpse into the past. Our host was so very very kind and accommodating, even sending us with a bagged breakfast on the mornings that we needed to be gone early.

Located in Terrasini, Amantea Monument offers free WiFi, and guests can enjoy a garden and a bar. All units feature air conditioning and a flat-screen TV. Communication with our host, Marci, was great. The rooms were nice and clean. There were bottles of water left for us, and the breakfast was AMAZING! We would definitely stay here again. Don't be fooled by the look from the street. There was construction happening on the house in front of this property. During the night, when we arrived, it looked like a derelict property, and the door to the walkway to the property was hard to spot. We thought, "OH no! What did we get ourselves into?" However, once we found the door, and walked in, we were in a lovely yard, and the property was great. In the morning we could see that the "derelict" house was just a house being refurbished.

Offering elegant rooms in the centre of Palermo, Family Affair B&B is 450 metres from the Politeama Theatre and 1.5 km from Palermo Cathedral. It features free WiFi. Amazing spot in Palermo. Parking was super easy to access and the room was huge with an amazing bathroom and giant shower. Lots of great restaurants nearby and a quick 15 minute walk on the main street to the Old Town. Breakfast had tons of food and lots of options.

Sleep Inn Catania rooms - Affittacamere is set in the City Centre district of Catania, and is 250 m from Piazza Duomo. Such a great place for the price! It was easy to get anywhere. The host was very nice and helped us when we needed it (for example help with the bus). Mainly, hosts are very friendly and polite. Perfect communication. We really loved it. I would change nothing about our stay. I would recommend this place to anyone traveling to Catania! I will always stay here when I travel to Catania.
