The individually-portioned breakfast was awesome, very generous, and changed on a daily basis. I also loved the fresh ginger tea they served in the evenings. In terms of location, you can get to Malioboro via a $2 cab ride (or you can walk 20-30min to get there). It's super easy to get cabs in Yogyakarta. There's also a convenience store right outside on the main road, and the guest house is a 3min walk away from Tempo Gelato (a popular dessert place). The staff were all very friendly and helpful, especially Bambang, who is such a kind person and always there when we needed something.

The best place I have ever stayed. The room is super clean. Cleaner than my own house. The building is very beautiful, as well as the decoration inside. Staff are really nice and helpful; I saw some comment of whom stayed here before said that they not really speak english, but they are good at it, they speak english, at least we understand each other 😁. The breakfast is not vary. But it is enough; there are choices of continental breakfast and vegan option, fresh juice and fresh fruits. You can also mix. This place might far for the centre but it is walkable to Jl. Prawirotaman and Jl. Parangtritis where you can find a lot of good place to eat. We walked; it took us almost half an hour 🤣There are also a local night market 2 min walk. The gate will be lock at 11pm, if you are going to be late at night, you need to let them know before you leave. The door to the building is always locked, just knock the door they will be right there 😁 Please see the pictures. This place is worth every rupaih I have paid for.

The owner Robert provided excellent service; he was always ready to respond to our requests via whatsapp and we were surprised by how responsive he was. He was very helpful by sharing tips with us on the attractions and also accommodated to all of our requests. The property was neat and we were comfortable, with nice homemade breakfast provided too. As good as it can be for a stay in a village!

At the guest house, each unit has bed linen and towels. Very impressed with the architectural style of the room, the carved wooden door ( a masterpiece). Good attention to details, although a 2 star accomodation, we had better facilities than a 3 star hotel. The owner values his guests, a lot of resting areas in the courtyard, a fridge with juice and beers to cool down were expecting us upon our arrival. Good breakfast ( we were asked what we prefere to eat). The singing birds were the main attraction for the kids. After some bad nights spent in horrible guesthouses, this one came like a very nice surprise.
