The location is good. The staff are friendly and polite, the room was clean. It was our bad luck - a huge storm struck Mysore during our stay at Raccoon Rooms. But they had good power backup and it was a comfortable stay. We didn't have A/C for a few hours because of the storm, and no cable because trees fell all over Mysore causing infrastructure damage. Breakfast was shavige bath and juice with tea or coffee. It was OK.

    A really really cute hostel, with lovely architecture! Rooms and beds were really comfy, and the AC was incredible! Great location for tourist needs, good food nearby, and a cheap Uber to the palace etc. Space to sit outside and in the common area, as well as having great kitchen facilities and dining area! The security guard on 24/hrs made us feel super safe and was also a great character, always willing to chat and hang out with us despite not knowing much english, he was a great laugh and asset to the place!

    Kaveri Hotel Bed and breakfast is a very nice, quiet hotel. The staff are very friendly and helpful, and have made us feel truly welcome. "Kaveri" means "friend" in Finnish language, and it is very well suited to this place. Good breakfast, dinner available, clean room. The hotel is situated at an easy walking distance from Mysore Palace. Rickshaws are easy to get.

    Rooms are clean and spacious and are based on Jungle theme. Every room is named after an animal found in the nearby Forest Reserves. The hotel is conveniently located close to the Airport and yet not too far from the city centre. The neighborhood is quiet and surrounded by greenery. There is ample parking on the road as well as in the basement. The breakfast spread was pretty good for the price that I paid. Do try their Kiwi mocktail (ordered separately in the evening). Probably the best I have ever had.
