If you like Campari, you'll like Suze, the bitter French aperitif that, along with Lillet Blanc, makes this classic version of the negroni cocktail distinct.

Ingredients

ounces gin, such as Hendrick's

1½

ounces Lillet Blanc

½

ounce Suze liqueur

Lemon twist (for serving)

Preparation

  1. Combine gin, Lillet, and Suze in an old-fashioned glass filled with ice and stir until very cold, about 30 seconds. Garnish with a lemon twist.

  • This is perfect. The proportions are just right. The recipe on the Suze bottle says equal parts and that was just too much Suze! The Bon Appetit recipe gets the proportions just right. Delicious:
