(Back-center in photo above.) Think of a radler as a shandy that uses grapefruit soda rather than lemonade. Think of this cocktail as awesome.

Ingredients
4
ounces grapefruit soda
¾
ounce gin
¼
ounce fresh lemon juice
Pinch of kosher salt
6
ounces chilled wheat or white beer
Grapefruit wheel (for serving)
Preparation
Fill a pint glass partway with ice. Combine soda, gin, lemon juice, and salt in glass, then top with beer. Stir gently to combine. Garnish with grapefruit wheel.

Back to TopThis is a misunderstanding of a Radler. A Radler uses lemonade or lemon-lime soda, not grapefruit. The riff with grapefruit sounds good, but isn't a traditional Radler.
