She also developed recipes and wrote stories to help readers discover unlikely food combinations (caramelized dates and asparagus) and cooking hacks (how to grill chicken without a grill) to inspire home cooks to cook creatively. Mehreen transitioned into food media from the world of digital communications and reproductive justice and takes pride in distilling seemingly complicated topics, be it food or social politics, into tangible takeaways on BA, her own food blog, and Instagram. Now that she’s completed her masters degree, Mehreen looks forward to never going back to school, photographing weddings, and teaching herself French pastry at home.
