Oxford Walking and Cycling Guide

A student city with plenty of cycling routes within and walking routes outside

Oxford city centre itself offers a brilliant location for keen cyclists, with many bike-sharing schemes available so you can hop on and off to your heart’s content. There are also local tours of the area conducted by bike, and lots of bike-based businesses. Being such a photogenic city as well, you can explore the local streets and waterways by foot or venture slightly further afield to discover the Oxfordshire side of the Cotswold countryside, complete with honey-coloured villages and bustling market towns.
