Ragley Estate

Exclusive holiday homes deep in the heart of Shakespeare country

Barely a bard’s ink splash from his birthplace in Stratford-upon-Avon, lies the Ragley Estate. This beautiful estate has been the ancestral seat of the Hertford family for more than 300 years although its roots can be traced back much further to AD 711 when it was gifted by the King of Mercia to Evesham Abbey. Set in thousands of acres of beautiful Capability Brown designed parkland in rural Warwickshire, the estate is home to Ragley Hall, a stately Palladian mansion and highly regarded for its superb and diverse calendar of events, which take place throughout the year. Well-known classics include the National Game Fair, Camper Calling and the Midlands Air Show, however the beautiful Ragley estate is also home to the crowd-pleasing, picnic concert show stoppers of Classic Ibiza, and the rousing Battle Proms.

The Ragley Estate is also a magical wedding venue with a bespoke and enchanting range of settings and is licensed for civil ceremonies in the magnificent state rooms and the formal gardens.

Now, for the first time, the Ragley Estate is enabling guests to stay on the estate and experience the beautiful parklands and breath-taking views for themselves.

The collection includes The Hunting Lodge at Ragley Estate, an elegant red-brick lodge which sits in 2.5 acres and sleeps up to 16 guests, making it the perfect spot for extended family gatherings.

Ridgeway Farmhouse is a modern, spacious four-bedroom house sleeping up to eight guests with a large garden, wood-fired hot tub and glorious views over the estate and Arrow Lodge is an original gatehouse with an enclosed garden and wood-fired hot tub which is the perfect escape for two.
