The Italian Sea Group lays keel of 50m Admiral superyacht

26 June 2024 • Written by Gemma Harris

The Italian Sea Group has announced the keel has been laid on the 50-metre Admiral superyacht at the shipyard in Carrara, Italy. The semi-custom yacht is the 607th yacht of the TISG's fleet.

“The keel laying ceremony, a long-standing maritime tradition, is a special moment in the yacht construction as it begins to take solid shape; it is a moment of great emotion, both for the shipyard and for the Owner,” said Giovanni Costantino, TISG founder & CEO. “The development of “semi-custom production” continues with enthusiasm, with a positioning that is always of the highest level”.

The yacht's design encompasses "elegant fluidity", combining the interior and exterior, ensuring harmony with nature, and allowing plenty of natural light to filter throughout the spaces. Natural materials, including wood, stones, and rough metals, have been selected for the interiors.

This 499GT motor yacht has prioritised cabin layout with owner and guest cabins located on the upper deck, benefitting from panoramic views from three sides with views courtesy of the large windows and a private deck further forward.

The Admiral superyacht can accommodate 14 guests with the option to convert additional lounges on the lower deck, bringing the total guest count to 16.

This news follows the sale of the 48-metre Admiral motor yacht Crocus and the most recent keel laying of the 70-metre Admiral superyacht C.626.
