A further $1,000,000 price reduction has been made on the 50.5-metre motor yacht Sapphire, listed by Neil Emmot of Superyacht Sales & Charter.
Built in aluminium to ABS classification by Trinity Yachts, the tri-deck yacht was delivered in 2009 to both an exterior and interior design from James McFarlane. She had a refit in 2019, with further work spanning 2020 and 2021 seeing new engines and generators fitted.
Sapphire has "flexible" accommodation and can sleep up to 20 guests in seven cabins. The owner's suite, which includes a large bathtub, is located up on the bridge deck and has sliding glass doors opening to the deck aft. A further double cabin is found up here with another on the main deck. The remaining cabins are found on the lower deck, comprising two triples, each with a queen and twin bed, as well as two twin cabins with additional Pullman berths. There are quarters for a crew of up to 12.
On the main deck aft is a large dining table, while on the bridge deck and Portuguese bridge is ample seating. Sapphire's sundeck sports more lounging space, a Jacuzzi, a bar and an al fresco dining table, perfect for enjoying the views while exploring. There is a 12-seater interior dining table in the saloon, which also has a bar. Forward of this is a "recreational room", described by the broker as being "perfect as an entertainment space for kids that can easily be converted to a VIP cabin".
Sapphire is a proven world-class motor yacht, having spent the past several years cruising extensively in remote areas of Southeast Asia. Twin 3,650hp MTU diesel engines push the 478GT yacht for sale to a top speed of 23 knots and a cruising speed of 15 knots.
The yacht has a range of 2,500 nautical miles at 12 knots and she is fitted with zero-speed stabilisers for comfort at anchor.
Lying in West Palm Beach, USA, Sapphire is now asking $17,500,000.
