SilverYachts' 73m disaster relief contributor Dragonfly joins market

12 June 2024 • Written by Dea Jusufi

The 73.3-metre SilverYachts motor yacht Dragonfly is newly listed for sale with Ben Ritchie of Y.CO.

Delivered in 2009 to a design by Espen Øino, Dragonfly was hailed as the fastest, most fuel-efficient long-range cruiser at the time with a transatlantic range of 22 knots. She was also commended for her contribution to the disaster relief effort in Vanuatu after Hurricane Pam devastated the island in 2015.

Dragonfly is asking €27,000,000.

Accommodation is across eight cabins, including three main deck VIP cabins and an owner's deck with a full-beam suite, private lounge and dressing room. There are further quarters for 18 crew.

An interior by Danielo Silvestrin incorporates rich lacquered woods, loose ambient lighting and cream furniture pieces. An art piece depicting a wave provides a conversation starter in the main saloon, which is arranged with three separate sofas and coffee table. Generously sized windows invite an abundance of natural light in.

The superyacht's standout feature is its outdoor cinema, situated aft of the main deck. A level below, the swim platform – with its floating dock – is the "ultimate toy launchpad" and another crowd-pleaser.

Other leisure highlights include a 3,000kg touch-and-go helipad; a gym; a sundeck Jacuzzi; a large sunpad that can transform into a dance floor and a sea-level beach club with an integrated sauna.

The yacht for sale has maximum speed of 25 knots and a 384kWh battery bank that "dramatically reduces fuel burn".

Dragonfly is asking €27,000,000.
