The 31.1-metre Sanlorenzo motor yacht The Great Escape has been sold in an in-house deal with Gaston Lees-Buckley of Camper & Nicholsons representing both buyer and seller. She is now named Monte-Christo.

The Great Escape is the sixth hull launched in Sanlorenzo's SL102 Asymmetric series. She was delivered in June 2020 to an experienced owner who spent more than €1.6 million on optional extras above the standard build specification. Since her launch, this yacht has only been lightly used with one owner since new.

The Great Escape was last asking €8,900,000

The Great Escape features an interior and exterior by H2 Yacht Design designed in collaboration with the in-house team at Sanlorenzo. Her interior décor combines coral accents with off-white and grey fabrics, brown leathers, stained oak parquet floor and white oak ceiling.

Accommodation is for 12 guests in a flexible five-cabin configuration with additional quarters for a crew of five. The master suite is located on the main deck forward and benefits from its own private foredeck terrace with a U-shaped seating and dining area and a large sunpad. The remaining guest accommodation is found on the deck below comprised of two VIP cabins, a convertible twin with a Pullman berth, and a children's cabin with four bunk beds. All cabins are en suite with underfloor heating and touch controlled lighting and blinds.

On deck, she offers guests two al fresco dining options: one on the sun deck and one on the main deck area aft that can convert to a day bed when not in use. There are opening doors on both sides of the sun deck that provide access to a large sunbathing area forward of the wheelhouse and another at the foredeck.

The Great Escape carries a 520 Williams Sportjet tender on the aft bathing platform, and a three-seater Seadoo GTX 200 Jetski in the tender garage.

Power comes from twin MTU 16V2000 M96 engines delivering top speeds of 27 knots with only 600 engine hours. She is also equipped with at-anchor and underway stabilisers and bow and stern thrusters.

The Great Escape was last asking €8,900,000.
