Attessa IV

Asking €109,500,000 with Merle Wood & Associates

Builder: WYG
Length: 101.2m
Designer: Felix Buytendijk, Diana Yacht Design

Attessa IV was originally built in Japan in 1999 as the 91-metre yacht Evergreen. In 2007, her four-year rebuild began under the stewardship of Merle Wood & Associates and Washington Yachting Group (WYG) in Vancouver, Canada. The superyacht was gutted from the main deck up and emerged with a host of upgraded features including a new bow, stern, foredeck tender garage, spa, superstructure shape and an all-new helipad. She even got a completely new interior layout, including the crew areas. This overhaul won Attessa IV the "Best Rebuilt Yacht" Neptune at the World Superyacht Awards in 2011. Other highlights include a large private cinema, library, elevator and bulletproof windows.

Sparta

POA with Arcon Yachts

Builder: Heesen
Length: 67m
Designer: Winch Design

Sparta has now overthrown Lusine as the Dutch builder’s largest steel yacht. Characterised by a low exterior profile and a hull accented in “Venetian red” and metallic grey, the shipyard claims that little has changed since the initial sketches were presented except for modifications to the aft deck pool, which now stretches to 6.5 metres. Accommodation is for a maximum of 14 people across seven cabins, with her elemental interiors – including a master cabin modelled after "air" – recently revealed to BOAT International.

Marilyn Monroe, Elizabeth Taylor, Grace Kelly, Frank Sinatra, Winston Churchill and John F. She was originally delivered as a WWII anti-submarine vessel and was later converted into a private yacht by Aristotle Onassis, the second husband of Jackie Kennedy. Two of her most talked-about features are a mosaic-tiled, saltwater swimming pool that converts to a dance floor and the whale foreskin-upholstered bar stools which surround Christina O's rope-covered bar, colloquially termed Ari's Bar.
