44m Baglietto motor yacht Monokini sold

20 June 2024 • Written by Nick Jeffery

The 44-metre Baglietto motor yacht Monokini has been sold with Marco Fodale of Fraser representing the seller and Marine Marketing introducing the buyer.

Delivered in 2013 from Italian builder Baglietto, the aluminium yacht was designed by Francesco Paszkowski with a customised interior by Alberto Mancini. Her high topsides and superstructure are finished in silver, complemented by dark-tinted glass.

Monokini was asking €9,950,000 with VAT paid.

The RINA-classed vessel has had one owner since new and just completed her 10-year survey. She was awarded the "Compasso d'Oro" (Golden Compass) nautical mobility design trophy in 2016.

Accommodation is for 11 guests in five cabins with quarters for a crew of eight. A full-beam "grand owner's cabin" is positioned aft of the four guest suites, all on the lower deck – each "offering a haven of elegance and serenity", according to the broker.

The formal dining room is situated adjacent to the generously sized galley, well forward of the saloon and its symmetrical seating arrangement, all very clean and minimal. Large sliding glass doors lead to a fold-out balcony. Up top, aft of the pilot house is a large sundeck with an outdoor dining table and extensive seating. The aft deck also provides inviting, comfortable seating in twin C-shaped modules, shaded by the overhang that sports an elegant wooden deckhead.

The 376GT yacht has a cruising speed of 23 knots and a maximum speed of 28.5 knots under twin 1,800hp MTU engines. She is equipped with zero-speed stabilisers.

Monokini was asking €9,950,000 with VAT paid.
