May brokerage sales figure triple those of April

Data from BOATPro showed a healthy €502.8 million of sales were completed in the month of May, representing a three-fold increase from the month of April. The figure is also comparable to May 2023, but only if the sale of the €330 million Ahpo is removed from that month's record-breaking €863.2 million figure.

There were 55 sales in May 2024 (nine of which had their asking prices withheld*), up from 29 in April 2024 and 45 a year ago (May 2023). Average asking prices of sales was €10.7 million.

The 60m Amels Come Together was the most expensive sale in May with an asking price of €59.95 million

The most expensive brokerage sale for the month was the 60-metre Amels superyacht Come Together, sold with Alex Busher and Charles Carveles from Edmiston representing the seller and Josh Gulbranson of Fraser introducing the buyer. The asking price was €59.95 million and she was designed by Espen Oeino with an interior by Winch Design.

Other large sales for the month included Benetti yachts Ambrosia and La Blanca with respective asking prices of €35.8 million and €27.5 million, as well as KD (€29.4 million) and Arrow (€33 million) from Sanlorenzo.

The 60m Lürssen Bella Vita was the most expensive new listing in May. Her asking price is $57,500,000

The value of new listings in May 2024 was €338.8 million. The 60-metre Bella Vita, joining the market at €53.1 million, designed by Espen Oeino with interior by Glade Johnson, was the highest value new listing for May. The average asking price for the month's new listings was €10.9 million.

The 101m Attessa IV had a further €10 million price drop in May

There were 68 price drops in May, the biggest being another €10 million taken off Attessa IV, which is now asking €109.5 million after a total of €40 million in drops in recent months. 

*Yachts with their asking prices withheld are not included in the total sales values. All sales figures are based on asking prices.
