Norway’s Retail Sales Fell by Most in Four Months in April

Norwegian shoppers spent less on food and clothes in April, prompting the largest slip in retail sales in four months as high credit costs and sticky inflation keep households cautious.

Seasonally adjusted retail sales fell 0.3% from the previous month, the most since December, according to data from Statistics Norway on Tuesday. Four economists surveyed by Bloomberg had on average expected a decline of 0.1%.
