Cheryl Paglierani Joins CAA, Bringing Post Malone, 21 Savage & Other Touring Clients to Agency

The veteran music agent was previously a partner at UTA.

CAA’s global touring division has made its first major hire since announcing new leadership earlier this month, bringing veteran music agent Cheryl Paglierani and her A-list clients Post Malone, rapper 21 Savage, Flo Milli, Jessie Murp and Dominic Fike to the agency.

Paglierani joins CAA from UTA, where she served as a partner. She previously worked at CAA from 2012 to 2014 and was named twice to Billboard’s Power 100 list. She has also been recognized on Billboard’s R&B/Hip Hop Power Players list for the past five years. This year, she was named to Pollstar’s Women of Live and Impact 50 lists.

Paglierani has been instrumental in the careers of clients including 21 Savage, who recently finished a 30-date North American amphitheater tour and is slated to headline several festivals in Europe this summer. Post Malone, whose touring business Paglierani began handling early in his career, grossed $110 million on tour last year, according to Billboard Boxscore.

“We are thrilled to welcome Cheryl to CAA,” Darryl Eaton and Rick Roskin, CAA co-heads of global Touring, said in a statement. “Cheryl has a deep understanding of artists and how they envision their careers, and she brings the expertise and tenacity to help make them a reality. Her acumen, experience, and character will make her an outstanding member of our team.”

“It’s an incredible feeling to return to CAA,” said Paglierani. “I’m excited to work with this extremely talented and driven team. I’ve been lucky to call so many of them friends for years and can’t wait to hit the ground running together.”

“Cheryl is highly respected in the music industry for her ability to identify and elevate emerging talent and foster the careers of superstars,” said CAA’s co-chairman/CEO Bryan Lourd. “Today’s announcement underscores the strength and momentum of CAA’s touring business and also speaks to the agency’s ongoing commitment to helping develop the careers of next-generation artists.”

Prior to joining UTA, Paglierani worked at The Agency Group.
