About two weeks following the release of his long-awaited fourth album, Assume Form, James Blake has dropped the video for the set’s hypnotic track “Mile High,” featuring Travis Scott and Metro Boomin.
Directed by Nabil (who has worked with Daft Punk, Frank Ocean and JAY-Z), the clip begins with Blake quietly stirring a cup of tea at the “Mile High Cafe” when a nervously talkative Scott enters to join him. From there, the two fall into a swirling abyss filled with smoke and stars. Watch below.
The release of the video on Sunday (Feb. 3) coincides with Scott’s upcoming performance at the Super Bowl halftime show in Atlanta.
