Artificial Intelligence Los Angeles (AI LA) is hosting the Festival to benefit their AI responsibility and literacy programs in the Greater Los Angeles area. Held on the largest rooftop in North America at the Plug and Play Tech Center in downtown LA, this event brings a diverse set of individuals, interested parties, industry professionals, experts, and academics together for a night of fun, collaboration, creativity, and a good cause.
A public benefit 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, AI LA supports diverse STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, the Arts, and Mathematics) communities of Greater Los Angeles. This community explores how AI, machine learning, and other emerging technologies impact humanity and how their programs can better serve the region.
The fundraising goal is $300,000, which supports an AI innovation ecosystem. Attendees can expect an evening packed with free food, an open bar, dancing, fun, generative AI art, professional matchmaking by Like|Minded, a silent auction, and more. This event helps bridge the gap between people who are curious about AI and what it does and practitioners who want to participate in this meeting of the minds.
Effective Change Through AI LA’s Mission
AI helps organizations make better decisions while enabling capabilities like planning, reasoning, communication, understanding, and perception. It also makes things easier from a human perspective, transforming significant areas of life. What’s unique about this organization is its commitment to providing guidance and professional development opportunities that open doors while creating a sense of belonging.
The organization has successfully helped professionals and organizations with finding funding, business partners, new hires, and jobs, and hosted over 100 in-person and virtual events, including hackathons, technical workshops, summits, design workshops, and panel discussions. Their primary objective is to transform the Greater Los Angeles region into a hub for responsible AI research, development, and application.
