Teachers in a sports hall trying guided running

Super Movers for Every Body is a new and exciting initiative for 5-11 year old pupils. We want all children to enjoy being active, and we want to support disabled children to feel included in activities in sport and PE at school.

Physical activity plays a vital role in the healthy development of children, and participating in sports and physical education benefits children’s physical, mental, and social well-being.

We've teamed up with the Premier League, ParalympicsGB and others to produce inspiring videos and resources that you can use to run inclusive sessions, where disabled and non-disabled people can take part together.

On the Super Movers for Every Body website you will find:

How to films

There are engaging films for different age ranges, for 5 to 7 year olds and 8 to 11 year olds. And they show you how to run sessions in:

  • blind football
  • boccia
  • Para athletics

There is also a film exploring the importance of allyship in sport to inspire students to make everyone feel welcome and part of the team.

Inspirational stories

Using the power of sport, we want to reach and develop confident young disabled people and empower allies across primary schools. You’ll meet Paralympians, Premier League players and other famous faces who share their stories and hopefully inspire your students to have confidence to try out different sports.

Super Movers songs and dances

Fun videos providing inspiration for the whole family to get moving at home. We want to support parents, guardians, and carers to encourage children to be active more often and to champion inclusive sport and activity for all.

Fun activity cards

With the help of Activity Alliance, we have produced easy-to-follow activity cards to enable you to deliver inclusive, challenging, and fun PE sessions at your school. They will show you how to plan and run the activity, what equipment you will need and how activities can be adapted to suit the needs of individuals and groups with advice for specific impairments.

Free sports equipment

A lack of equipment can be a barrier to disabled children taking part in sporting activities, so, with thanks to the Premier League, Super Movers for Every Body is providing thousands of free inclusive sport equipment packs for UK primary schools. The deadline for schools to apply was Friday 7th June and registration has now closed. Schools who are successful will receive their packs from September 2024, but all the Super Movers for Every Body activities can be tried today with equipment found in your school or home.

Suitable for Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 PE, PSHE and SEND in England, First Level and Second Level PE and Health and Wellbeing in Scotland, Progression Steps 1, 2 and 3 PE and Health and Well-being in Wales, P2-P7 PE and PDMU in Northern Ireland.
