Annie Mac has been announced as the final headliner in an upcoming summer concert series.

The former BBC Radio 1 DJ, who has gained a global following, will be performing at Bristol Sounds on 29 June.

Organisers have previously announced Busted, James Arthur and Placebo as other headliners who will appear at the annual music event.

The open-air gigs will be held at the Lloyds Amphitheatre from 22 to 30 June.

More than 20,000 people attended Bristol Sounds in 2023 to see artists like Mika, Self Esteem and Levellers perform.

Event organisers said Ms Mac will bring "good vibes and dance-floor anthems" to the event.

Conal Dodds, from event promoter Crosstown Concerts, said: "What a way to complete our line-up and go out with a bang.

"Every year, we like to programme something for everyone, and this year truly is no exception.

"Bristol Sounds is for the fans; and we've really gone for an eclectic mix here, from 90s rock to noughties pop and now an unmissable DJ set from Annie Mac."

The general ticket sale will begin on 22 March at 10:00 GMT.
