Basingstoke: Home Cinema Interiors opens showroom in town

Home Cinema Interiors was founded by resident Joshua Jones in 2017, who began mounting TVs in the area.

The company has now opened a showroom in Winchester Road, offering its unique services to customers, which include media wall installations, and bespoke feature walls combining technology and interior design.

Kelly Dinsey, Joshua's sister and head of marketing and business development at the company, said she is 'really proud' of Joshua, adding: "I didn't doubt that he was going to progress, that's in his nature. 

"I knew things were going to happen as soon as he said he was working for himself. Even a year, or 18 months ago, a showroom was still a bit of a pipe dream and I don't think any of us thought of it to that stage."

The business soon progressed from Joshua installing TVs to fitting home cinema rooms, in addition to installing TV setups for customers with design elements including electric fires, glass surrounds and hidden wires.

Kelly added that the company had a 'really wonderful opening day on the weekend' with 'amazing' responses to the new showroom.

"Until fairly recently I'd been working from the kitchen island with his [Joshua's] fiance. My brother's worked really hard, and getting that recognition and feedback made it feel like it was all worth it," she finished.

The company changed its name earlier this year from Home Cinema Design to Home Cinema Interiors to reflect the change in the business as it 'started to be more than the audio-visual side'.

The showroom features a range of media walls, in addition to examples for different cupboards, plastering and finishes for the wall and is open from Tuesday to Friday from 10am to 5pm, and on Saturday from 10am to 4pm.
