Vaccines Save Lives

Vaccines are one of the most successful public health achievements in the past century. In fact, because of the effectiveness of vaccines over the past 75 years, diseases like tetanus, diphtheria, and rubella are virtually unheard of. But we are still at risk for several diseases that vaccines can help prevent.

Different vaccines work in different ways, but every vaccine helps the body’s immune system learn how to fight disease. The recommended vaccination schedules for children and adults balance when someone is likely to be exposed to a disease and when a vaccine will be most effective.

Vaccination is a safe, highly effective, and easy way to help keep your family healthy. Get vaccinated! Protect yourself, protect your family, and protect Arizona!
