Duane Rankin is a Phoenix Suns Insider for The Arizona Republic starting in September 2018. He produces daily content, videos and writes an occasional column. Before joining The Republic, Rankin was a columnist/videographer for the Montgomery (Ala.) Advertiser where he primarily covered Alabama and Auburn football. Having been in the business for 20-plus years, Rankin has covered several college football national championship games, an NBA Finals (2007) and interviewed LeBron James, Kobe Bryant, Kevin Durant, Nick Saban, Floyd Mayweather, Emmitt Smith, Gregg Popovich and many more athletes and coaches.
