Karen Kurtz is The Arizona Republic and azcentral.com's senior content strategist and manages the production team. Karen was part of the team that won a Pulitzer Prize in 2018 for "The Wall: Unknown Stories, Unintended Consequences." She has worked at newspapers in California, Washington and Oregon and has been with Gannett since 1989. She earned a B.S. degree in journalism from the University of Colorado.
