Sharon always lit up the room with her smile and laughter. She was a loving mother, sister, aunt, cousin and a cherished friend. She was considerate and kind with a heart of gold and will be missed by all who knew her.

Sharon died unexpectedly on June 9th at her home in Scottsdale, Arizona. She was born in Phoenix on August 2, 1952 to the growing family of Mitchell and Cecelia Saba. She was the third of four children: Janice and Phil came before and Paul was the youngest.

Sharon attended West and Central High Schools. Her university studies were at NAU and UNLV after which she became a dedicated teacher and taught a variety of subjects throughout her years in the Paradise Valley Unified School District. After she retired from education she had a very successful career as a real estate agent.

Sharon always enjoyed and took pleasure in spending time with family and friends, but above all she took pride in being a proud and loving mother to her son, Mitchell.

Sharon loved to travel and had been to every continent except Antarctica. She was very active and enjoyed walking in scenic nature, mostly near her home in the beautiful Arizona desert. Pickleball became her game of choice for the last several years, but also loved board and card games. She was also an ace at playing Mahjong, and especially loved being her cousin Sandy’s “phone a friend” for the game. Sharon loved to entertain, and food and games were always a big part of these gatherings with her many friends and family. She also liked going to sporting events and concerts with her friends and brother, Phil. Sharon had remarkable patience and was always working on jigsaw puzzles, some of which she framed and hung in her gameroom.

Sharon was predeceased by her parents, Mitchell and Cecelia Saba; her sister, Janice Crowley; and nephew, Bobby Crowley.

She is survived by her son, Mitchell; brothers, Phil and Paul (Toula); Nieces, Debbie (Rob) and Diana; nephew, Christopher and great-niece, Cecelia and Mitchell’s dad, Bob Hildebrandt.

Celebration of Life will be held at Dream City Church, 13613 N. Cave Creek Rd, Phoenix, AZ 85022. Building H, on Saturday, November 2, 2024 11:30-2:30 p.m.
