Margaret J. (Peggy) Maxey Finn

Passed peacefully at age 95 on July 2, 2024, in Phoenix, AZ. Peggy was born on April 3, 1929, in Montrose, PA, and raised there along with her three siblings. Peggy eloped and married her hometown sweetheart, George (Huck) Finn, in 1948. They were married for 66 years until George’s passing in 2014 at their special home in Paradise Valley. Throughout George’s career they lived in many locations in the country and they traveled around the world, but Paradise Valley was their favorite place of all. She is survived by her son Mickey (Maryann) Finn; daughter Carol Finn, and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by one brother, William Maxey, and two sisters: Jean Weldon and Mary Goodenow. Peggy was an avid sports fan, loved entertaining, had a green thumb, always having a beautiful garden. She touched everyone with her wit and funny sense of humor; quick with her original and famous one-liners. She was the best and she will be missed.
