Sal: Rangers will sweep Devils if they take game two

Sal Licata is pumped up about his Rangers taking game one from the rival Devils with ease, and is ready for New York to potentially lock up the series in game two on Thursday night.

“We want the Cup!” Sal said.

“The Devils have to win this game tonight. You’re gonna get everything the Devils have. They have a game under their belt, they know the speed of the game, they know what to expect. They got dominated by the Rangers basically from puck drop.”

If New Jersey drops game two at home on Thursday, and sends the series to Madison Square Garden with the Rangers leading 2-0, Sal says the Blueshirts might as well break out the brooms when they get back home, because the first-round series wouldn’t even make it back to Newark for a game five.

“You’re gonna get everything the Devils have in game two,” Sal said. “And if they don’t win this game, they’re not going back to New Jersey.”
