BT rips Robert Saleh, Jets leadership amid Aaron Rodgers minicamp absence

BT, flying solo on Wednesday, began his show by blasting the Jets brass for how they’ve handled Aaron Rodgers’ minicamp absence, and the storylines of the offseason so far.

“I believe in the Jets talent, but I don’t believe in the Jets leadership,” BT said. “It’s not even mid-June, and the only things they’ve given us a chance to react to, they’ve colossally butchered. They acquired Haason Reddick…and he doesn’t show up. Then, of course, the Rodgers stuff.

“How in the world could you know for months…during Aaron Rodgers rehabbing, he made it clear to the Jets, ‘I’m doing this during this period, which equates to minicamp, so I’m not gonna be there.’”

BT believes the Rodgers situation could have been easily diffused on Tuesday, but says Robert Saleh’s comments on the absence made it into a headline, despite reportedly knowing about Rodgers attending an event long before minicamp this week.

“Nobody is worse at the podium than Robert Saleh,” BT said. “Robert Saleh is a trainwreck when it comes to talking to you, the fans.

“They messed something up that I don’t think any other team in the NFL would mess up to this degree.”

BT is still high on the Jets this season, and believes they could win 13 games and make a playoff run, but it won’t be because of the head coach or front office.

“It’s almost like if they win the Super Bowl this year, it’s gonna be by accident,” BT said. “Or because of the players…do you really think they’re gonna win because of Saleh? No!”
