Keith joins social media movement: 'Jesper Bratt is the best player in the NHL'

Jesper Bratt banged in his 20th goal of the season on Tuesday night, helping the Devils to a much-needed 4-3 victory over the dangerous Avalanche in their first game out of the All-Star break.

Bratt, an All-Star this season, is making a push to set a career high in goals for the third straight year, and has become another potent scoring threat on a New Jersey team full of them (when healthy, at least).

Keith, signing on right after attending Tuesday night’s game in Newark, is all aboard the Bratt hype train.

“Jesper Bratt, get me hyped,” Keith said. “Jesper Bratt is the best player in the NHL. They’ll get it eventually.”

The declaration is part of a social media movement from Devils fans, led by the X account, “The Bratt Pack.” The hashtag, #JBITBPITNHL, has made its rounds, and even Bratt has seen it and knows its meaning. Keith is on the hashtag trend as well, and is hoping Bratt can lead the Devils on a playoff push through the final third of the season after Tuesday’s big win.

“We needed this one coming out of the All-Star break,” Keith said.
