Boomer rips New Jersey's bridges after Rangers fall to Devils

Boomer gave plenty of props to the Devils for being the clear better team in game seven against his Rangers, but he clearly was holding some resentment on Tuesday morning after game seven.

So, he took his anger out on….the bridges of New Jersey?

“You guys in New Jersey have the ugliest bridges,” Boomer said while retelling his commute back to New York that took him through the Garden State Parkway and the New Jersey Turnpike. “You have no creativity, no design concept, nothing. They’re all brown, they’re ugly, or it’s just like a road that goes over a hump. There’s no creativity or architecture.”

Jerry tried sticking up for New Jersey by bringing up the Goethals Bridge, but Boomer claimed that to be a New York achievement.

“New York said ‘We’re gonna have to make it nice,’ like the George Washington Bridge,” Boomer said. “We got all these great bridges.”

Boomer also went after the tunnels.

“I’m driving through the Holland Tunnel,” Boomer said. “And I’m like, ‘Can you ever fix the damn thing?’”

Jerry tried one more time, bringing up the Pulaski Skyway, but Boomer quickly shot that down as well

“Oh, it’s brown. It looks like a pile of dump,” Boomer said. “They’ve got ugly bridges, man.”
