Tasha Manoranjan is a nonresident senior fellow with the Atlantic Council’s Strategic Litigation Project and a senior associate with Pape Salter Teillet LLP. She specializes in Indigenous rights law with an emphasis on litigation and governance. Manoranjan previously worked at the Ontario Human Rights Commission, the Ministry of the Solicitor General, and Sidley Austin LLP. She is the founder and serves on the board of directors of People for Equality and Relief in Lanka, a human-rights organization working to advance justice and accountability for Sri Lanka’s mass atrocities. Manoranjan holds a JD from Yale Law School and a BA, magna cum laude, in justice and peace studies from Georgetown University’s School of Foreign Service. Manoranjan is called to the bar in Ontario, Yukon, New York, and Washington, DC.
