Pakistan’s foreign minister pitches more global aid and investment—and ‘less chaos’

Foreign Minister Bilawal Bhutto Zardari spoke at an Atlantic Council Front Page event in Washington about how the international community can help Pakistan tackle its challenges.

Amid an ongoing climate catastrophe, the appointment of a new army chief, and a persisting economic crisis, Pakistan has witnessed a multitude of challenges and developments. To offer insights into these issues, Foreign Minister H.E Bilawal Bhutto Zardari discussed the government’s foreign policy goals, opportunities for deepening the Pakistan-US relationship, and Pakistan’s plan to address the climate crisis and resulting economic challenges. 

The event was hosted by the Atlantic Council’s South Asia Center on December 20, 2022.
