    FAQ

Q1: What should I do when using a solar charger to charge - Anker SOLIX F2000 (PowerHouse 767)?

The solar input supports a 11-60V solar charger with an XT-60 connector. If you use a 11-32V charger, the current supports 10A max while a 32-60V charger supports 20A max. We recommend using Anker 531 Solar Panels (200W) for better compatibility.

Q2: How should I store and maintain the power station?

-Turn off all the outputs when not in use to avoid battery from draining.
-Store in a dry and cool area.
-Check the battery capacity each week. If the battery level is below 30%, charge the power station to 100%. Fully charge it once every 3 months.

Q3: What should I pay attention to when using the Anker app?

-Connect to a network before using the app for the first time. After connecting successfully, you can connect the power station to devices off-grid (Wi-Fi not supported).

Q4: Can the power station charge my electric car?

You need to purchase a neutral-ground plug to charge an electric car such as a Tesla with this portable power station. After plugging it into one of the outlets, you can then charge your electric car.

Q5: Can I recharge Anker SOLIX F2000 (PowerHouse 767) using AC and DC input at the same time?

Using AC and DC input simultaneously is not possible. AC input is prioritized as the main input source if both are connected. When AC recharging is not used, it will automatically switch to DC recharging.

    Good enough

In light of the ongoing power supply issues in Ukraine due to Russian aggression, I needed to establish a reliable backup power solution in my apartment. I deliberated between the Anker f200 and the EcoFlow DELTA 2 Max and ultimately opted for the f2000 for the following reasons:
    - Lower price of 1300EUR compared to 1800EUR for the EcoFlow DELTA 2 Max
    - Superior cooling management (owning both the Anker 555 and EcoFlow River 2 Max, I found that Anker operates much more quietly than EcoFlow)

Currently, we experience power outages from the city for about half of the day. To address this, I connected the power station via an automatic transfer switch directly into my electrical panel. This setup ensures that all sockets and lights are automatically powered by the Anker f2000 during outages. The system performed well when tested with power-intensive devices like an iron and a microwave - no issues arose. Furthermore, the power station operates quietly even when delivering 2kW.

The only drawback I found compared to the EcoFlow is the lack of remote management capabilities (via the internet). Additionally, it lacks integration with home assistant or similar smart home management tools, resulting in a deduction of one star in my rating.

    Invest in free energy payback

I bought this purely to use the solar panels on the roof to charge the Solix F2000 (and the F1200, because I have that too) during the day with the free solar energy to use the charged F2000 in the evening for the computer or the TV streaming. I use the F1200 in the kitchen for the coffee machine, the air fryer, the egg cooker, to charge the ebike battery and everything else that can be charged such as the action cams and my drones. After extensive testing with the F1200, I decided to purchase the F2000, which I have not regretted.
I have 2580 kWh of solar panels on the roof, which power my F1200 and F2000 and in my 1-person household I have more than enough to be completely self-sufficient in my electricity consumption in the evening. This way I save a lot on my energy bill and quickly earn back the purchase price.
