Jeeca Uy is an avid homecook, vegan recipe developer, food blogger, and photographer behind The Foodie Takes Flight, a vegan recipe blog and Instagram account. What she started out as merely an account to document her day-to-day meals and food discoveries when she first switched to veganism, eventually grew into a platform of hundreds of thousands where she shares vegan versions of her favourite dishes growing up. Her cooking is heavily influenced by her Chinese-Filipino upbringing which fuses together both East and Southeast Asian flavors.
