No safety seal or expiration date. Mine arrived without the pump piece at the top but I had a spare pump on hand so I put that on the bottle. It pumps out as a light ot medium weight gel with no discernible scent. Lathers well (though not super foamy). Seems very gentle and so far, I haven't noticed an exfoliation effect. I struggle with dark spots and hope regular use will help in that area though it's too soon to tell. That will be the determining factor in whether I get this again.

First I would like to say this is my first purchase of a La Roche-Posey product, the prices are a bit steep for me, but this was well worth it!
So far I love this!
I have that Irish skin, blotchy, ruddy and at my age, dark spots. I have been using this less than a week and I am impressed with how good my skin looks.
I also have very sensitive shin, another perk of having Irish skin, I have had no issues at all with this.
I’m very pleased with this buy!

I am super into skin-care products, and I've tried a lot of them, but I've kept it pretty basic when it comes to face washes. So, when I had a chance to try this, I jumped on it!

I have sensitive skin, and often just stick to my gentle drug-store brand face wash. I was a bit worried that this face wash would be too harsh, but I was wrong! Despite its exfoliating properties, I haven't found this to cause any irritation or discomfort when I use it every other day. I have psoriasis on my face as well, and this hasn't done anything to cause discomfort in those areas either.

I likely will increase to using this once a day soon and see how I do, but so far I'm really not concerned that this will cause any problematic irritation for me.

I like knowing that, in contrast to the basic facewash I had before, I'm accomplishing more in my skin care routine by using this instead. I think exfoliation was something missing from my routine, because I often just assumed exfoliating products would cause discomfort. I am glad to know that I was incorrect, and that I just needed to be sure to get a good quality, well formulated product from a brand with a solid reputation for skin care.

I don't *love* the scent of this, it's very floral, but luckily it doesn't linger and I don't notice it at all once I've rinsed the product away.

I will say that I am cautious of what products I use after I use this exfoliating wash, and so if you use other products that exfoliate, or strong acids in conjunction with this, you might have a different experience.

I am super satisfied with this face wash, and I definitely recommend it!

This is a really good quality face wash with added anti-aging benefits. As someone with really dry and sensitive skin, this face wash did not irritate my skin whatsoever. The ingredients in this cleanser lightly exfoliates my skin without those exfoliating beads since it has a chemical exfoliant (PHA). I have noticed my skin texture has improved a ton and my skin tone has improved as well. The cleanser suds up pretty well and rinses off my face with ease. My only complaint is that this face wash is scented. Though it doesn't smell bad, as someone with sensitive skin, I prefer products that are unscented. The scent did not cause my skin any irritation though, so it's not a big deal for me.

The La Roche-Posay Mela B3 Gel Cleanser has a slight perfume-like fragrance. I typically prefer any face products I use to be unscented, but this one did not bother me. The scent didn't linger after you wash it off. My skin is on the sensitive side and this gel cleanser did not cause any problems. I followed up with my current moisturizer after cleansing.

I was a little intimidated at first to try this La Roche-Posay Mela B3 Gel Cleanser, since it said “micro peeling”. I’m truthfully not too familiar with “micro-peeling” so I wasn’t sure what to expect, especially with my sensitive skin.

Thankfully, my sensitive skin has had no adverse reactions to this cleanser.

It’s a gel like consistency but lathers really nicely, but not overly foamy. A little goes a long way. The first thing I noticed was the scent. I don’t smell fragrance at all, I smell chemicals truthfully. It doesn’t linger and goes away as soon as I wash it off, but something I felt I needed to share.

I’ve been using for almost 2 weeks straight now and tonight, for the first time, it got into my mouth when washing it off and YUCK!!!! It tasted AWFUL! I’ve had other cleansers sneak into my mouth haha but never had any taste as bad as this one. So, don’t let it get into your mouth!! Haha

After first use, I was shocked how smooth my skin felt! It took all my makeup off (I don’t wear eye makeup so can’t comment on that), and it cleansed my skin without drying it out at all! My skin felt so smooth and soft. And going on 2 weeks of consistent use, my skin keeps getting softer!

I haven’t noticed any difference to my skin tone looking more even, but I am excited to continue use and see some results!
